What you’re looking at

A U.S. operator report of a UAP captured over the Mediterranean near Greece in October 2023. The official caption notes a straight flight path from ocean toward land. Public-release identifier PR35.

Context

Companion to PR34 in the same Greece-2023 cluster. The over-water-to-over-land trajectory is the most behaviorally specific claim in the entire DOW set in Release 01 — most UAP reports describe stationary or chaotic motion; few describe a clean transit.

Why this matters

A clean linear trajectory across a coastline argues against several common conventional explanations — balloons drift with wind, birds rarely fly in straight lines, and stationary atmospheric phenomena would not transit. It is consistent with a powered platform of some kind. What kind is the open question.

What it does NOT show

The straight trajectory is consistent with a drone, a cruise missile in transit, a low-altitude civilian or military aircraft, or a surveillance platform — none of which require an exotic explanation. The unresolved tag means the office could not yet assign which.

Open questions

  1. What was the speed and altitude estimate?

  2. Was the object tracked into Greek territorial airspace, and if so, did it land or continue?

  3. Were Hellenic Air Force or NATO radar systems cued?

  4. Is there a paired radar track for the visual?

Evidence rating

The clean trajectory claim is more falsifiable than most operator descriptions — and falsifiability is what raises evidence value. If a straight, fast, sea-to-land transit is genuinely what was observed, that is harder to dismiss than 'hovering point of light.'
